The Coup in ‘93

‘93 The first time I saw them live at ‘The Stone’ IN San Francisco on Broadway St. (Real Bay Hip Hop shit) They opened up along with The Bishop for Onyx & Brand Nubian…I remember Heiro was chillin in the crowd…Del…everybody was there…Sway & KingTech were puttin it on if I remember correctly. I just remember record shoppin all along from East San Jose up along the Peninsula and up to the city. Then we watched the soundchecks cuz we were wit one of the acts or dj’s I forget. Sticky Fingaz & Fredro Star walked up in the club wit 40’s…I remember thinkin to myself…these niggaz are either crazy or just don’t give a fuck drinkin some fuckin 40’s up in the club…but whatever I was like 16 or 17 wtf did I know….all I remember is that night was pure magic….I saw Onyx…Brand Nubain…The Coup…and even Boss (she fuckin killed it when she came on)…that night was ridiculous though…hella weed smoke in the air…Mosh Pits…oh man I could of stayed there all night…..well I did actually lol didn’t get home until 4am…pops was UP WAITING FOR ME!! lolol smh told me not to go to sleep and he was gonna drop me off at school an hour early lmaooo only pops man….Uno Amore
